Twilight welcomed 2019 with our first meeting of the year on January 9th.  We opened the meeting with our famous toast, "To the best time of the day... Twilight!" and learned about seven New Year traditions around the world.

Donna Bell provided a lovely inspirational moment and Billie Sue Records led the flag salute.  PP Kat Clowes let everyone in song.  Our Famous Rotarian was Sir Winston Churchill and we had three members who shared their "happiness" with Happy Buck donations.

Saturday, April 6 is "Rotarian at Work" Day and PP Robin Paggi would like suggestions for a service project.  We have District Mid-Terms on Saturday, January 26, the All-Club Luncheon on Thursday, March 7 and BLE on Tuesday, March 12, so be sure to mark those on your calendar!

There wasn't a formal program/presentation, but instead, Prez Amy provided a bowl of questions that was passed around and answered by everyone.  No worries, though, we'll be back to our 'regularly scheduled program' next week (Jan 16) with Cheryl Scott from KEDC.
