Jim gave an harrowing account of a close call flying at Catalina Island.  After taking off, he realized he was losing air and had to turn around.  He ended up making an emergency landing on a dirt road.  It was amazing story.

DREAM CENTER - Kern County Network for Chidren- Carrie Bloxom gave a presentation on the foster youth services program located at the Dream Center.  The Dream Center & Coffee House is a one stop for current and former foster youth. It is located in downtown Bakersfield at 1212 18th Street.

What is it that the Dream Center does?

• Help youth by helping them with their needs
• Provide a safe place for foster youth to hang out and participate in peer supported activities, and
• Have fun!!!
