On Saturday, February 22, 2020, several Twilight club members and Centennial Interact Club members joined other Rotary and Rotaract Club members to volunteer at the Third Annual KernYES! event. The morning began at 6:00 A.M. at the Kaiser Permanente Sports Village Soccer Complex to prepare for the check in and registration of the high school students. After arriving by bus at the Historic Taft Fort, the students were greeted by the volunteers and escorted to the main meeting room for a delicious breakfast before breaking out into their teams and sessions. Feedback from the students indicated that they had a really enjoyable day. Thank you to our own Li Gibbs for leading the KernYES! Board in their planning and preparations for this wonderful event and for her enthusiasm. Thank you to Twilight club members President Nancy, Alma, Ashli, Brad and Oz for volunteering to help at the event.
