On February 5th, 2025, Rotary Club of Bakersfield Twilight welcomed Jim Wheeler, Executive Director of Flood Ministries!
Jim explained to us about how Flood got started and how they work with the city and law enforcement, not to detain people but to find them help in their toughest times.
They also have numerous programs that aid those who are struggling, starting from outreach to job placements to eventually helping them find housing solutions. Amazing!
Brad then gave us his Ten Stages to Midwestern Goodbyes. Trying to escape the driveway is tough!
Jeremy Swanson then went over the secret skill of Jeremy McMahon which was him being able to tell the differences between paints by sight. Awesome!
