On Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, Rotary Club of Bakersfield Twilight welcomed Bruce Howard, Annual Fund Chair from District 5240!
Bruce talked to about the Annual Fund and the various programs Rotary Clubs can implement, including Programs of Scale where $2,000,000 to each program is allocated for solving large problems like ending cervical cancer in Egypt and reducing maternal and infant mortality in Nigeria. He also mentioned Peacebuilding, with Rotary Peace Fellowships and Scholarships that afford a master's degree or professional certification in peace and conflict resolution.
