It was another fun & fabulous Twilight Rotary Meeting on August 1st with District Governor Sandi's official visit to our club! Because we are Twilight (aka Not Your Father's Rotary Club), we planned a special community service activity to coincide with the traditional DG presentation. Special thanks to both DG Sandi Schwartz, AG Patrick Collins and special visitor, Prez Amy's son - Chris for joining us in making Birthday Bags filled with cake mix, frosting, plates, napkins and other small goodies that will be distributed to agencies like the Gleaners so that all children can celebrate their birthdays in special "Twilight-style!" Additionally, DG Sandi presented three of our Twilighters with special "People of Action" Awards: Nancy Pollard, Denise Thomas, and Oz DeGuzman! Congrats on continuing to emulate "Service Above Self!" Finally, two Paul Harris Fellow Awards were presented tonight to Pamela Zulfa and Oz DeGuzman.
Next Week (Aug 8) will be our Social/Offsite at Barry's RV. Past President Jeanne will be in-charge as Prez Amy is traveling.
