State and local governments will ultimately determine when the shelter-in-place orders will be lifted. The City of Bakersfield is encouraging everyone to wear masks to help ease the state government's shelter-in-place order. So, if we want to get back to normal as much as possible and as soon as possible, we need to wear a mask now when we go out into the public. Our own, Robin Paggi, arranged our Rotary Mask Project where we would purchase masks for ourselves as well as to donate them. On May 7, 2020, Robin delivered 50 masks to the Bakersfield Homeless Center. Thank you Robin and everyone in our club who participated.
