A big thank you to Day Hay, President & General Manager of Jim Burke Ford Lincoln (and Downtown Rotarian) for a great overview of the history of his family and businesses. Dan exemplifies true leadership, not only in his day to day management of one of the largest Ford dealerships in the state, but he joined our Twilight Greeter, Oz in meeting everyone as they entered the room! ...and speaking of OZ - he wins the most creative presentation of the Member Spotlight! Way to go, Oz!
Also joining us were fellow Rotarians, Michael O'Doherty (our presenter for Wed., Oct 24!) and Rick Kreiser, who gave us all the chance to formally thank him for generously inviting Twilighters to Guitar Masters as our monthly social on October 10. Additionally, we had prospective Twilight Members, Billie Sue Records and Troy Goodban in the house!
Prez Amy received another set of FAB gifts for our "Travelin' Twilighters" including a bottle of Tequila, Starbucks Octoberfest Mug, Butterfly Scarf, and Mosquito Net Hat. Photos may have been taken but have not surfaced as of yet.... thank goodness.
Don't forget that the October 24 Club Meeting will be at the Bakersfield Museum of Art!
