President-Elect Nancy ran another meeting (way to go, Nancy!) as President Amy headed to Monterey to see their son, Chris graduate from CSUMB.
Beth Pandol from the Water Association was the speaker and shared interesting facts including the California farmers grow more than half of the country's fruit, nuts, and vegetables... on only 3% of U.S. farmland! Who knew?!?
Former President Jimmy Carter was our Famous Rotarian and PP Carol was the Member Spotlight.
We also had a special visitor, Principal Xochtil Prieto from Mt. Vernon Elementary stop by with some lovely thank you cards from the students. We will pass them around for all to see at the May 22 Twilight Meeting.
