On January 15, 2025, Rotary Club of Bakersfield Twilight welcome District Governor Sherry Sim!
Chief Economic Development Officer of Kern County and former Rotary Club of Downtown President Jim Damian was present to introduce Sherry to the club.
Sherry told us about her experiences in Rotary and how despite the hardships of the many people from the countries she visited, their generosity in thanking Rotary members for their efforts were amazing, whether it be food or gifts.
We also welcomed new member Alex Neal, the Executive Director of the Stars Theatre who was pinned by Sherry herself and introduced to the club by Amy Smith. Congratulations Alex!
Also members, Jeremy McMahon and Tammy McMahon made bread and cupcakes respectively. Amazing talent we have at the club!
