We held our regular club meeting over Zoom on October 7, 2020. This meeting was a bit more relaxed with past Twilight member, Zoot Velasco, as our guest speaker. It was great to see him and catch up on what he’s been up to since he moved away. Pamela Elisha and her husband, Irvin, zoomed in from their Sukkah. They gave us a walking tour through Zoom and explained this beautiful Jewish tradition. Thank you Pam and Irvin for sharing with us and our guests. Congratulations goes out to President Elect, Robin Paggi, and Past President, Kat Clowes, on the pre-release sales of their book on Amazon. On other news, our President Li was chosen to serve on the groundbreaking Kern County Sheriff Department's Community Advisory Council to help bridge communication between our Sheriff Department and our community. She will be serving with other community leaders from throughout Kern County.
