On May 21st, 2025, Rotary Club of Bakersfield Twilight welcomed (and was also welcomed) to have a sneak peek at the Bakersfield Museum of Art Summer Exhibit courtesy of Victor Gonzalez, Curator of Collections & Exhibitions!
Victor took us on a tour of the new exhibit, highlighting the photo realistic art style of Pamela Carrol and her everyday objects theme!
He then explained the history of the museum and the its permanent collection, of which they bring out various pieces to show depending on the program they put together. He explained it takes multiple YEARS to properly put together an exhibit, from contacting artists to properly storing and displaying their work. Great job Victor!
