What a great time we had at our April 6, 2022, meeting with Breanne Corely - Bakersfield's Bee Gal. We learned that the female bees do all the work of pollinating and producing honey while the male bees' only job is to mate with the females. Some of our male Rotarians thought that was an attractive arrangement until they learned that the male dies immediately after mating and his corpse drops from the sky to the ground below.
