We had our first Teacher Supply Drive for Mount Vernon Elementary!
And it was a success! Twilight Rotarians alongside members of Blue Zones Project were able to donate and transport numerous classroom items and supplies for ten teachers at Mount Vernon Elementary!
Vicheka Ek (organizer), Laura Williams and Vince Zaragoza were there and saw the reaction the teachers had to receiving these much needed items. They felt seen and heard.
These items are those they would normally not have been able to provide as teachers are often overlooked when it comes to budgeting items for the classroom. Great job guys!
