On September 6th, 2023 for B-Rads first meeting of the month, he reminded us that we were in the Age of Aquarius and that Love is all you need!
In true dude fashion, B-Rad donned some garments of the groovy variety. Tony Azemika gave us an inspirational moment and then we were joined by Jim Damian,the newly appointed Chief Economic Development Officer of Kern County!
Jim talked about learning the ropes about the role of Chief Economic Development Officer and what exactly Economic Development means for Bakersfield. A former business owner himself and Rotarian, he reminded us that Bakersfield has a lot of potential and opportunities in many areas, not just Ag and Oil. Entrepreneurship was a big theme and if we can get business to flourish with the help of the county, Bakersfield's rep can only go up from here! Thanks Jim!
