Rotary Club of Bakersfield Twilight
On April 3rd, 2024, Ryan Hopple, General Manager with Sensorio came and gave a presentation on the Sensorio Event in Paso Robles!
On March 27th, 2024, the Bakersfield Police Department had a K9 demo for Twilight Rotarians!
On March 14th, 2024, Rotary members from all six Bakersfield Clubs met at ROC CTEC (Career & Technical Education Center) for lunch, a presentation by Erik Bartsch, Aera President and CEO and for honoring the work of past club presidents in a project that started in 2019!
The food was prepared by CTEC students in the culinary program (it was very good!).

"Both the Regional Occupational Center and The Career Technical Education center are an accredited public education career/technical training institutions. We offer a variety of programs to those interested in developing or improving job skills. All courses are designed to prepare students for entry-level employment. Classes at ROC CTEC are open to high school juniors, seniors, and adults.

On February 7th 2024, Rotary Twilight welcomed Shari Rightmer from Laborer's of the Harvest!
On January 31st, 2024, Rotary Twilight put on the Kern County Rotary Trivia Championship!
On January 10th, 2024, past BBRC President and current West Rotarian Randy Merriman visited Rotary Twilight to talk about the Guatemala Farm School Restoration project!
On December 6th, 2023, Rotary Twilight Members joined members of the community at a fantastic show, "Santa's Angels" at the Gaslight Melodrama!
On November 29th, 2023, Rotary Twilight welcome First 5 Executive Director Amy Travis, who are celebrating their 25th anniversary!
On November 1st, 2023, Rotary Twilight celebrated Dia De Los Muertos and welcomed two members of Bakersfield Jazz Club! Amy Smith's first day as President saw the tables adorned with Marigolds and playing cards. She also rocked a very cool flower crown!
On October 25th 2023, Tony Cordova and James McGarrah of Bakersfield College visited the club and presented two new degrees, Industrial Automation and Research Laboratory Science!
On October 18th, 2023, Rotary Twilight held another Trivia Night, complete with questions on Pop-Culture including Movies, Music, Videogames and Science!
On September 27th, 2023, members of Rotary Twilight met at Dewar's on Calloway Dr. to enjoy some ice cream and donate some socks and undies to the Mission of Kern County!
On September 20th, 2023, Dustin Contreras joined us from the Kern Coalition Against Human Trafficking.
